Single value self portrait

This was my self portrait and I really like how well my shapes on the face came out compared to the whites on the page. However, I really don't like my negative space because I believe it's too dark; I tried to make a cloud like shadow over the light side but I think it is just too dark

Planes of the Face Homework

These were the planes of the face (top) drawings and I think it was very helpful to learn the structure of the face.

Goya's

I chose a crucifix because in many of Goya's pieces, he showed people on a crucifix because he had seEn many people wrongfully harmed in his life (guessing) and he was a very religious Spanish man too trying to get out his terrible thoughts and things he had seen.

Organizational-Line Drawing

I think the subject drawn itself and my use of negative space was very effective in making my drawing creative. My drawing was very accurate and mostly correct in proportions. My negative space was very unique because I tried to make 'rays of light' that would shine on the skeleton. Some lines went through (lower parts of skeleton, and higher up parts the light would go behind. I think the best part of my drawing would be the knee that's up (left knee) and how i was very successful in showing how the right hand was actually on the table with my use of shadows. If I were to name this piece i would call it "The Light of The Dead."

Organizing Line

This piece is "fascinating" because I really like their use of shading and foreshortening. You can tell that this person was closer to the head and further from the feet because of visual hierarchy. Also because themed is darker and slightly more detailed than the legs which are further away from person drawing it. There is a lot of overlapping in the drawing too like in the ribs and hips and I think the drawing was overall really well done.
